Sometimes it can be hard to know what to say in the twice-a-month cheerleading for your hubs. We're here to help! When using your email tool, you can access pre-loaded email templates to help get your creative juices flowing. You can also save templates of your own and use them over and over again.
Note: There are also messages in the Template area saved with the title SAMPLE. These are samples for you to draw inspiration from rather than templates to plug your own information into.
Step 1: Access Templates by navigating to your Email tool and then clicking "open Template/Draft."
Step 2: You'll see the option to restore a draft if you have one saved, otherwise you can choose from your saved Hub Templates or our Sample Program Templates. Click on a red title to preview the text.
Step 3: Once you find a template you'd like to use, click "Select," and the subject and message will load into your email fields.
Step 4: You can edit the text as you wish, and if you'd like to save it as your own template or save your changes to come back to it later, simply click Save Template/Draft. The templates have text in chevrons < > that you will want to change to be correct for your hub. Many templates have red text with suggestions for use at the top that you will want to delete before sending the message out.
Step 5: To come back to your draft to finish it later, click "Save As Draft." To save it as a template to use again and again (still can be edited each time you select it), click "Save As Template." You'll be able to update its name and put it in the category that makes sense. Templates you save are only available for use by leaders and delegates of your own hub. Once you've saved a template, it will remain in the subject and text fields so you can send it to your intended recipients.
Step 6: To send your email, click "Email Hub Contacts," then "Approve," and "Send."
